Using a radical new concept, the Wedge Bivy combines a low profile structural shape using curved Easton Aluminum poles with a waterproof-breathable Direct Venting™ eVent fabric. Designed for one person plus gear the footprint is shaped to accommodate two people in a pinch during a fast and light alpine push or in an emergency. The versatility of this bivy makes it suitable for most light weight endeavors whether it is a quick summit attempt or a long distance bike tour. A wide door entrance with full bug net coverage makes for an easy entry and exit and added comfort during warm summer nights. The seven internal Velcro ties and eight external reflective tie points can be anchored down to make a stable shelter to weather any storm. An optional vestibule can be attached to the bivy using the clip at the top of the bivy and grommets for the bivy pole in the front corner loops.
