Lightweight and compact, the Rab Xenair Vest is designed to adapt to your output. Ideal as an extra layer for stop and start mountain activities.

Adaptable, lightweight, and versatile, the Rab Xenair Vest is a dual weight, synthetic insulated gilet that excels in mixed conditions and start stop activities. Featuring a highly breathable, weather resistant Pertex® Quantum Air outer and two weights of recycled PrimaLoft® Gold Active+ insulation, it has been engineered to hold warmth when you’re static and allow airflow as soon as output increases. Strategically body mapping the different densities of insulation, with the lighter weight insulation through the sides and down the spine, the gilet efficiently balances body temperature and eliminates the need to constantly change layers.

Optimised for action, the Rab Xenair Vest has a lightweight YKK® front zip with chin guard for comfort. It has three semi-concealed, YKK® zip pockets; one on the chest and two front hand pockets, one of which doubles as a stuff sack with a harness loop (for attaching when it’s not being worn).

The perfect boost of warmth for all mountain action without the bulk of sleeves, the Xenair Vest will be your go-to layer for every season.

HOW TO MEASURE

  • Arm length – Measure arm length from neck to wrist fold along the top of the arm with the arm fully extended.
  • Chest – Measure horizontally around the fullest part of the chest.
  • Waist - Measure horizontally around the narrowest part of the waist, your natural waist, at the small of the back or where your body bends if you lean to the side.

While all of Rab’s garments are sized to these measurements, you will find that the cut on jackets designed for use in more extreme environments will be slightly more generous in the expectation that these designs will be used with additional/thicker mid-layers. If you plan on using a jacket like this with fewer layers beneath it, please keep this in mind when selecting your size.

REGULAR FIT FOR GARMENTS

Designed to be versatile Rab’s Regular Fit garments are not closely fitted making them ideal forcross-seasonal use and multi-layering. Regular fit garments are contoured, with room for movement.

SLIM FIT FOR GARMENTS

Rab’s Slim Fit garments are designed to be worn closer to the body or over layers such as baselayers and light mid-layers. Slim fit garments are closefitting for maximum performance when moving dynamically.
