Celtic Paddles Carbon Light Omega 600 Sea Kayak Paddle 4 piece Black

Celtic Carbon Light Omega 600 Sea Kayak Paddles - 4 Piece

The Celtic Paddles Carbon Light Omega 600 is available here as a 4 piece paddle, ideal for travelling, breaking down into 4 pieces it's short enough to be carried in your hold luggage with no "sporting goods" surcharge.

The Celtic Omega is a dihedral blade shape that reduces twist and flutter for a forgiving and comfortable paddle, especially on longer excursions. The outer edges of the power face curve away from the centre, directing flow across the blade. The slight curve along the length of the blade maximizes power during the catch phase of each stroke. This shape is available in all four of Celtics original Kinetic Touring blade sizes, and a smaller Omega Light 575.

The smaller blades may be used by smaller, less powerful paddlers, or alternatively those who wish to optimise their [paddling cadence.

The four piece version is supplied on a standard diameter straight Carbon shaft with a Nylon Leverlok centre, allowing adjustment for both feather and length up to a maximum of 10cm. The blades are secured using the patented paddlok system, a simple hex key adjusts the locking mechanism and provides a secure blade attachment. The four piece can be set up either right or left handed making it a truly universal paddle, the perfect spare paddle for use on the water. Narrow diameter shafts for paddlers with smaller hands are available to special order.

As with our kayaks, we have a selected range of our Paddle stock available as demo paddles.
